James Surgery

James is going in for surgery tomorrow morning. His doctor finally scheduled his jaw surgery. We have to go in at 6 am and the surgery should start about 8am-9am and will last from 3-7 hours. James will be spending the night at the hospital, but since he will be in recovery I will not be allowed to stay with him. I will be picking him up the following day from 9-noon. James should be home for 3 weeks and on a liquid diet for 8 weeks. I will give an update on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial

James and I went to Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial last week. Here are some pictures and a little information on Mt. Soledad. This place has been in the news a lot lately. People are tring to take down the cross and it has been in court ( with the U.S. Supreme Court) for over a year.

To enhance and preserve the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial honoring those veterans who have served our country during times of conflict and to educate the general public about service to our country and the sacrifices that veterans make to preserve the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.
